Gaitway Equine Ministries is committed to providing a high quality therapeutic equine program which aims to improve quality of life by promoting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being of individuals through equine assisted activities and therapies. Our desire is to touch the lives of veterans, victims of sexual exploitation and trafficking, individuals with disabilities, mental illness, or addictions, and at-risk youth (and also their families) by helping them achieve their maximum potential.
GEM is a faith-based recreational healing facility serving anyone with disabilities, mental health issues, or in need of any type of healing from past/current trauma. Our goal is to have fun and allow our participants to reach their goals in the equine arena - whatever they may be. Want to learn to ride independently? Great! Want to learn how to care for a horse? Excellent! Want to learn how to groom, saddle and lead a horse? Fantastic! Want to learn more about yourself and your interactions with others? We got you! We have horses of all sizes to help each individual feel comfortable as they go. Start small and work your way up or start with the biggest one!
